Possible to write your own SPD ??

Well i've got my sticks working in the biostar but it didn't go without a hitch.
I had a dump of Ballistix PC5400 Fat D9. I wrote it into the SPD and guess what... Stick didn't booted anymore. Also I saw that Taiphoon only writes to the first stick. So I dumped a Corsair 6400 Fat D9's SPD. Started with one stick in slot 3 and while windows was running I pushed the stick with the faulty SPD in and flashed it to the Corsair SPD. After that stick worked again I flashed the other stick and now they boot in my Biostar. It's pretty cool because it's OEM PC2-3200 and it now identifies itself as PC2-6400 Corsair

holy crap dude... wow... foolish to say the least..

now link us to a site that has that ram so i can go buy 4 gigs of it and flash them all to the corsair hahaha

I bought it second hand It's OEM memory out of a Dell PC afaik. It was produced on 0502 so that's more than 1,5 year ago, too bad for you

I've got similar problem like DaWaN.

My sticks are: 1GB Micron D9DQW PC2-3200 (some getaway chips for Dell Dimension 5150 E510 for thoose who wanna look for them) and theres problem with booting P5B DLX.
Any SPD's with 533/677/800 speed for thoose modules would be great too.
