    ASUS P5B Deluxe vs. G.BRAND DQ6 impressive!!!

Now, we can see a full review and concludent test, made with those two Mobos. I personnaly own an DQ6, but for sure I will change it. I was not expecting this from GIGABYTE. I`m very sad to see how this brand applies very strong marketing plans, but......

Here are the comple test made:

I haven't detected any problem... Scans are clean.. (CA Pest Control and ezArmor)...

Back OT: Is this posted by Corsairs "Ramguy"... I'm assuming this was generated by Asus...

If this is legit: Gigabyte - Dig a hole...

153 views and counting, I don't think anyone is taking him seriously

do you have any solid background information and testing or do you only have pretty pictures and colourful text?

    Any Gigabyte officials reading this?

I`m not from any Asus Gigabyte or Corsair. I`m just one of the many mobos buyer, and an DQ6 owner. If those who contest the tests and result, I would be happy to view another comparative test

The audio argument is a little lame, P5B has some ADI1988B solution I've never heard of or can't find on google and DQ6 has ALC888DD.

    EDIT:

Seems pretty crappy compared to realtek stuff.

I'll say that the user interface (GUI) is not that appealing IMO but it is very easy to setup and navigate. the wizard is very well done. There are plenty of options...most of which are hidden away in advanced option menus. Like I said not the most eye catching interface but it serves it's purpose well and has plenty of options. I don't own the Gigabyte board so I can't talk on that. Just wanted to point out that first glance doesn't really do justice here. If they spent some more time making a more appealing GUI I'm sure more people would like it, including you. But that same thing can be said about other great software. In the end I think it serves it's purpose of options and controls. I'll take that over a appealing looking interface anyday.

If Asus didn't make this PDF, why does it say G-Brand then?

At the moment, the Gigabyte bioses are not mature, I saw a lot of compliants about the bios versions. Maybe if they release some new version we will see.....

i dont really see why anyone cares about this at all...

cheaper board = cheaper components. Duh.

6phase is plenty of power phases, the best clocking AMD board (the ultra-d) used 3 phases while most others used four, doesnt really matter... doesnt hurt, but doesnt matter either imo.

This presentation was from the Asus PR group. I even know who did the 535FSB shot.
