Moving right along here, anything above 3.2G I have to raise the Core Volts. I have it set to 1.43V.
Also notice the CAS of 3. The Memtimings are all on auto and are good up to 465 at theses settings.Really strange.

I'm 95% sure it's the RAM holding this back. It's taking 2.1V just to do 880 @ stock timings. Question is should I drop some cash on new RAM or sell the proc and get an E6400? Keep in mind it's doing 3.08Ghz at 1.3185v.

I can't seem to get my E6600 stable at 3.4Ghz. It's stable at 3.2Ghz with 1.35v and 1.50MCH, and seems stable at 3.3Ghz with 1.38v vcore and 1.55MCH but it fails Orthos in a few seconds at 3.4Ghz and 1.40v v-core. Sometimes I'm not even able to enter the BIOS to change something after a failed stability test unless I downclock it a bit in Windows.

    Any suggestions?

    for dual super pi
Copy the .exe into two executables and open both
Go to task manager and set the affinities so that one instance pertains to Core0 and the other to Core1

    Run them simultaneously.

Just got a new E6700 today.

    L624A613
    08/08/06
    SL9S7

This chip has the beveled IHS corners, and runs much hotter than my L626 E6600. Doing quick test with custom water. FSB set with ClockGen, vCore set in BIOS. Asus P5WDH 0801.

    300 x 10 - 1.3500 vCore - 5 min Orthos Small FFT stable, stopped manually.
    320 x 10 - 1.3500 vCore - 5 min Orthos Small FFT stable, stopped manually.
    330 x 10 - 1.3500 vCore - 10 min Orthos Small FFT stable, stopped manually.
    335 x 10 - 1.3500 vCore - Orthos Small FFT FAIL.
    340 x 10 - 1.4000 vCore - 8 min Orthos Small FFT stable, stopped manually. CORETEMP @ 70 C... uhoh.
    350 x 10 - 1.4500 vCore - 5 min Orthos Small FFT stable, stopped manually
    355 x 10 - 1.4750 vCore - 6 min Orthos Small FFT stable, stopped manually. CORETEMP @ 72 C, Speedfan @ 59 C
    360 x 10 - 1.5000 vCore - 5 min Orthos Small FFT stable, stopped manually. CORETEMP @ 76 C, Speedfan @ 61 C.

EDIT: Just checked the mount. It's terrible! Thank you concave IHS.
EDIT2: I think I'll lap this thing to bring temps down... now to get the balls to go through with voiding warranty on a 1 day old $700 chip LOL

    EDIT3: Added picture
