    So far im stable at 3ghz 334x9 with my ram at ddr1000, im using the g.skill 2gb hz.....vcore is at 1.350 but 1.3 in windows, also the fsb nbvcore is set to auto, i cant seem to post anything at 400 fsb, seems like over 350 im having problems......i raised the cpu volt all the way to 1.5 still no post, tried 400x6 no post, tried raising the nb vcore to 1.45 nothing, fsb was raised nothing, pci x is at 100 and pci is at 33.......spread spectrum is disabled, any ideas, im using the 0507 bios.

    Thanks for making this thread. One thing, the official bios from asus's website is 0507, not 0405. I hope this link works correctly.

    I'm also hearing that this board (along with most 965 boards) is having trouble running micron D9 memory. Can anyone comment on that. I've seen many people who have it working but than someone will say they do not work.

    Actually on the ASUS site the latest official listed BIOS is 0405. I think they took the other one down or something.

    it's the asus servers screwing up.

    they never took it down, just they often do this. 0507 should still be on FTP

    Ah makes sense. Just the site listed will not direct you to the 0507 BIOS.

    Curious, since my board will be here tomorrow, is the 0507 considered a better BIOS for most? I'm getting everything ready to flash. I got to get a lot done tomorrow. Basically get the system from parts to a finished computer ready to go out on Thursday.

    did you try with ram 1:1 ?
    maybe a multi pb for the ram ...
