Yeah those X850's are a the value crossfire setup I think, if you know where to look you can get a Mastercard(refurb) for 140 and a xt pe for 170 and have a pretty decent(none sm 3.0) set up that should hold over even a pretty demanding gamer till DX10 for roughly 310 bucks. I could be wrong but I dont think there is 310 doller solution that will be faster(in non sm 3.0 applications), this is pretty much what I'm planing on for my next build, if the fricken CF boards for conroe get here any day, or even for AM2.

My current card is a flashed x850pro running 520/600, I really need to volt mod it, but considering I'm running a single Barton core 2400MP, and a 1gb of ddr 2100, my score of 5716 in 3d2k5 isn't too bad.

or Macci. he reached above 900 lot's of time ago and had beat 9000 marks on 05 with an FX57 ( ) if i'm not wrong

Thing is, my mem runs a max of 660-670, no matter timmings, tighter requires higher volt, but, higher volt wont give ekstra mhz with stock timmings, so, high volt and tight timmings

Windows crashes when gfx hits below 0 deg C... - Have had it running -30 water before... Now -13 is the limit..

Having a hard time even hitting 9K - Getting new mobo tomorrow though, it will deff help... - 702/600 artifact free, tweaked vids - high quality etc... - Also artifact free in artifact scan..

Hoping the CPU will do atleast 4ghz tomorrow

It shuts Windows down whenever the GPU temp goes below 0C. Nothing more than a software "bug".

3.6ghz kinda' sucks, and max benchstable is only 100-150mhz faster... - Ohh well, my phasechange is ready very soon... (wanted to get it moded, but that idea kinda' died, not efficient contact :\ - So, new socket kit on its way)

off with conroe . seems like to be a nice chip here , 3.4ghz full 3D stabel on stock cooling .
only thing whas vmodded the mobo and i killed it , to bad but got some runs for u guys
clocks on 01 are the same , this is on my 2 maonds old os and 24/7 .
so dont mind , only worming up getting a new bord as fast as i can

that is very great. i loved my x850xt till i let it go last week. but since its getting 9k in 05 would it perform like a x1800xt since it scores around there? or is it just benchmarking points and real world isnt affected.

ex. x1600 gets like 5k in 05 but performs like a 3k card.

This is the number that took me a few days - been really really struggling to hit the perfect 10000 point marker ( had to downclock and run loose gpu memory - lol always been getting TOOOOO high scores ) - finally here it is:









next score I am gunning for is 11111 - will be a LOT harder. ATM I am in the mid 10s approaching 11k

Too bad I am having to run my much slower X850 CF edition - seems like my XT PE is a goner....maybe someone wants to lend me a X850??? WOuld love to see how far CF could go - as a guess - 17k ?
