    Another ATI Overclocker released!

    download the program here
Wow, you can't control the voltage on the 3d side.

Guys give this a try even though you can't tweak the volts on the 3D side it appears to allow you to do the same thing ATI Overdrive except clock the core/mem higher. I still haven't found a profile or save feature yet.

Whoa it detects 3D clocks right :|

OK.. nevermind this program blows sack. I clock to my usual settings and my PC freaks out. Doesn't crash though, thankfully.. but it needs work.

    One thing:

Voltage apears only in 2D mode.. so i think understand it's needed disable the service ( ATI Hotkey, Smartgard) and use too the 2D clock for OC then if we will set the voltage...?

I have disabled the ATI Hotkey and Smartgard services as well. However, only the voltages for the core are available to change. The memory voltages are greyed out and cannot be changed. As a result, adjusting the memory becomes a fruitless exercise leading to immediate lockups. Anyone else seeing this?

Seems to work same previous octool with the 2 services disabled. Set clocks/vcore in 2D. I cannot adjust volts mem either or adjust fanspeed. Max vcore is only 1.4v with this tool (1.4 octool = 1.425 atitool)

    2D:

It uses the same (loose) 3D mem timings as the old octool does.

Very interesting how this program works.

    Notes:
    - Fan speed adjustment does not work with x1K cards
    - Overvolts vGPU by 0.025v
    - Overvolts VDDCI by 0.013v
    - Undervolts Memory/I/O voltage by 0.015v

    Functionality:
    - It displays BIOS default 3D clocks, but changing them only changes 2D clocks.
--* However, changing 3D vGPU does change vGPU in 3D (and not in 2D). That remains seperate.
    - Since vDDCI and Memory voltages are not changed from 2D to 3D modes, they do not appear in "3D settings".
    - Relaxes memory timings as loc.o mentioned

If you change 2D (or 3D, same effect) clocks and run a 3D application, it will reset clocks to the default 3D clocks set in CCC. So essentially, if you want to use this tool, shutdown ati2evxx.exe and adjust the 2D clocks/voltages to get the desired result.

Thinking about this tool now, the only good thing it brings to the table is changing vDDCI without going through ATiTool, but it does not give you anywhere near the fine tuning that ATiTool does (0.025v increments vs 0.003v increments).

Clocks my X1900 Xfire edition card fine but causes a VPU reset with my X1900GT slave card.

Bah.. so disable service and then use the 2D clock and voltage don't work.. are you sure too it's impossible to allow more voltage.. i need 1.575 /2.25/2.25/1.503 for use 800/900 on my XTX.. so.... if not this will not help me a lot..and i stay to ATi tool.. more it display temp, and have other functionnality..and finally i have never got prob with ATTool 25.14b

    Ok i have do this:

Disable the Hotkey poller/smartgart service.. then reboot.. then use the 2D voltage + set the 2 clock to the speed i want..
    (like with OCTool X1K)
It s possible get more voltage..

But my score in 3D 05 was alittle bit low compared of what i should get ( i have set different lower speed compared to the screen..score only 12'973.. But.. cause there's a but.. it's not bad.. so is the OC have work? ans the tool reduce perf..

I think your clocks are a little too high for your cooling. You have to test incrementally until you find the clocks that give you the best score. GPU is easier to OC so test that first.

Yeah, ATi Tool is flakey, but way better than all the other tools out there.

I thought with MACCI joining ATI we would soon get a killer official OC app, i guess i too much.
