AMD runs benchmarks in Japan... X2 vs. C2D

    AMD's first official test....

My god! Just look at the discrepency of these benchmarks... Atleast the benchmarks done at IDF were consistent with 3rd party reviews.

    First test,
    X2 4200+ vs. E6300
    http://www.watch.impress.co.jp/akiba..._amdevent.html

    What a load of bullcrap.

    Second test,
    FX-62 vs. E6700
    http://www.watch.impress.co.jp/akiba...intelcomp.html

SuperPI 1M with an E6700.... 29secs lol. What a load of bull. Must have ran that E6700 without a hsf and it throttled,
    http://www.watch.impress.co.jp/akiba...mage/nadi7.JPG,

From what I know, a E6700 runs SuperPI 1M @ stock... like 19 secs? Lol, how do you get 29secs?

didn't take time to read it
but in past each manufacturer has had it's share of FUD. So is it really surprising?
    oh well!

Yea, but atleast the benchmarks at IDF weren't as bad as this. Actually it was very accurate.

if you look at the pic on the 6700 link

look how the conroe red bars are above the FXs green ones.

the 4200 looks like BS but the other one looks to be inline.

I really like to see the test's between the 4200+ and the E6300, from someone in the forum, just to compare.

the E6600 can do it in 21 sec. those bench are really wrong.

But hey, AMD have nothing more to do than lying to their fanboy. They don't have anything to offer until they release their K8L.

The 4200+ vs E6300 tests might be somewhat acurate. Notice they didn't test '01, '03 or SPi where the X2 would get blown away. The X2 can remain at least competitive in '05 and '06 given a clock speed advantage. 2.2Ghz vs 1.86......about an 18% advantage for AMD.

LOL. At least it isn't as bad as before. When Netburst was Intel's only option, it was like AMD 86, Intel 7.
