Attention @ installation of Gigabyte's 965(possible other brands also)

I used to have an amd platform before going to new intel build for conroe. One think I didn't pay attention when I tried to screw the board in my box is that an extra hole for screw is missing on Gigabyte DS4, all motherboards before used to have that. So when I started to screw I know something was wrong cause the motherboard doesn't fit perfectly. A little scratch was the result but thanks god it still works perfectly. So pay attention and this can be the reason some people with ds3 cannot boot! Maybe they screw the mobo without remove the base of the missing hole(from the case) and destroy the motherboard!

Isn't it just that your old AMD board is Micro ATX and your new board is ATX. ATX has 9 screws (although seen 1 or 2 boards only use 8) and only 3 of which are next to the back plate not 4 as in MicroATX.

My DFI NF4 Expert for AMD used one more standoff then my new Abit AB9 Pro and i was wondering what the heck was up when i installed the board and noticed i had an extra screw left and couldn't find a place to stick it. I went to looking and noticed there was less places for standoffs on the board so i had to take all the screws out and remove the motherboard and take out that extra standoff or it would of shorted out the board when i went to turn it on.
