    I'm stuck damnit >.< Gigabyte 945P-S3

Well, I needed a temp computer to use until next week when I get my Allendale, so I bought a 775 Celeron 331. Stock 2.66ghz.

The motherboard doesn't seem too bad so far, but then again, I'm not exqactly pushing it.

I'm having a bit of trouble overclocking with it. I've got it to 192fsb from 133fsb (3.84 from 2.66), and it won't let me set a higher setting than 192, no amtter what I try. The CPU primes all day long at 1.3v (1.4 stock) at 3.7, but the mobo refuses to let me select anything higher than 192. I tried clockgen and it just ignores it, same with easytune 5. My ram's only 512mb of generic DDR2-533, but I'm only running 1:1 at the moment, so that's not the limiting factor.

I've tried different RAM ratios, but it doesn't change anything.

I tried, didn't work. I set it in Bios to 200, boots at 192. I set it to 200 in windows, just doesn't do anything.

yank the vcore up a couple notches those chips get to a wall then you gotta make a jump in the vcore.

if your at 1.3v then go to 1.5 see what it does. if it goes lower it down a bit until you find the sweet spot.

ive had several cellies and they all do the same thing right around 3.7-3.8v

crank the vcore and see what she does.

I have seen the exact same with another MB (I do not remember which.. of all I've had.. think it was a ASUS board with ATI X200 express chipset).
About the same OC-limit with a Celeron D.. FSB192-194.. Could set FSB higher both in Bios and AI Booster.. without effect...
Sold the MB and bought another (i910).. and could OC way past FSB200.

200 or 233, set in windows OR boot, doesn't work

it seems temperamental. I had the PC off for about 45 mins and I come back to find it boots at 192fsb again, so i did a re-boot, boots at 190, then another and it boots at 185. now it randomly boots between 185 and 187 WTF.
