Thread: 7900gtX SLI @975x :)

    7900gtX SLI @975x :)

Since it's such a hot topic lately, thought I'd run some 975x + 7900gtX SL| for kicks. Scores are pretty devastating. I believe these are all WR's (03,05, and 06 unofficially of course) Sham I know I promised I wouldnt, but I couldnt help myself especially when I saw you playin with your shiny new red toy .
    Just jivin bro...

    7900gtX SL|Tek9 ln2
    ASUS p5wdh-dlx
    X6800xe Dragon ln2
    Corsair 6400C3 ram

    06'

    05'

    03'

    01'

    AM3

That is some serious gtX ownage.
Cpu can 3d at a little over 5100 now and cards aren't at absolute max.
Very special thanx to Big Sam for the modded drivers, to make benching on this "officially un-licensed" setup possible.

About -120c/1.7-1.75v or so, temps don't get critical until 5200mhz.
The 05' could bust 28k+ I think easy where the cpu maxes out in 3d. Gonna need all that and much more when Hipro starts goin ... x1950 dont count until I get some G80's George.

Very nice cpu Mhz there for 3d benching.

I get the feeling though that Shamino and Hipro might not listen to your statement about X1950Xt though Vince

Awesome work my friend - is it safe to say that SLI is more powerful than any of the current crossfire rigs?

Any news on when Nvidia will release official SLI drivers for the 975 chipset?
