    DS3 + 2GB Patriot Ram work (PDC22G5300LLK)?

First time poster here, but long time lurker.

I have my E6400 coming from Ewiz and have a question about the Ram I bought for my DS3.

Anyone having any troubles booting a DS3 with this 2GB kit from patriot (PDC22G5300LLK)?

It looks like it runs on 1.8V so wont have to worry about upping the vdimm any to get it to boot. I have read a few other threads about some Patriot ram is not booting.

Anyone got any of this stuff that is working on a DS3?

I think they are the Elpida chips. Nobody is running this RAM on a DS3?

Sure do. Here's my little list.

TWIN2X2048-5400c4 Boot @ 1.8V, changed to 1.9V per spec, SPD AUTO wrong (5.5.5.15, should have been 4.4.4.12), manufacturer date of almost a year ago, crashed Kaspersky, Firefox, and more. Definitely a bad stick, but I've had only one other Corsair ram set in the past...and they were bad too.

OCZ2G8002GK No boot @ 1.9V. The specs call for 2.0V, so go figure.

PDC22G5300LLK Boot @ 1.8V, SPD (4.4.4.12) perfectly on AUTO, and passed a round of Memtest. It's priming now.

Popped em up to 2.0V and went for 800 @ 4.4.4.12. CPU-Z reads CL3 for whatever reason tho.

    This PATRIOT ram rocks!

    http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...82E16820220095

Running 400 FSB on my E6400 at 4-4-4-12 with +.2 VDimm. Booted up first time no problem.

This ram is overlooked alot but its a top notch performer. I could prolly go 450FSB at 1:1 if I gave it another .1 VDimm.
