NVIDIA has conlcuded it and many benchmarks had shown it before that - whether it's x8 or x16, it really doesn't make any significant difference. Previous 7900GX2 used x16 connector between PCBs and NVIDIA apparently noticed it was a waste

You're right! I just checked an old score of mine with the Asus 975X board and it runs also on 8X there
. I just don't understand what's going on with 965DQ6 - the 7950GX2 seems to be so castrated. Maybe only I have the problem - will be interesting to see OP can get the scores up.

Hmm so it seems the DQ6 is playing nice with the 6600 and 6700! Good news!

Has anybode installed a Scythe Ninja cooler in DQ6? Or Tuniq Tower? Will the "crazy plate" (on the back of the board) go off easily?

DQ6 running a E6400@3g stock at the moment, 7950GX2 running perfectly with the F3g bios.

Vidax, Jazz, might I ask what your voltages are for FSB, MCH, PCI-E, Vcore, DIMM, at those nice overclocks (aside what is shown of course ) I am having trouble with mine, stuck at 350x9 anything above that and prime reports errors almost immediately, then around 360x9 superpi reports errors, then above it will either not post or freezes before I log into windows.

    Thanks!
