I'm trying to get 3.6 Gigs. Booted into windows once but its unstable that was with the memory on Auto. Memory is at 3 6 6 18 Auto, dropped it to 4 7 7 19 and I'm running .25 on the north and FSB not sure how far I can push these without blowing the board up. Tried upping the volts on the CPU by .5 but it didnt make any difference. Its defo the board thats holding me back because of the brick wall I'm hitting for a small increase from 500 to 515 so I have asked for some help from Gigabyte. See what happens. I have heard rumours of a Biod with some slacker chipset timing to achieve higher FSB.

I have a PW5 DH coming soon might try that but I suspect it wont touch 500.

Any help in breaking 3.6 would be greatly appreciated

Its going to be hit and miss for time. I have a little 10 month old Asgard that needs some attention today

the asgard, what is ur fsb voltage so far? or it is still at default?

btw my E6300 b2 and DS4 with my value ram are now running at 428x7 (2996mhz @ stock vcore), ram at ddr1070 5-6-6-15. vdimm @ 2.2v, vmch @ +0.2v, vfsb @ +0.1v.. it is dual super PI 32m stable.

but i wonder why i cant run at 429x7. eventhough i set in bios 429, the board will only detect it as 428x7.. and another thing is i cant run at 1:1.. it wont boot into windows. So i have to run at 4:5 where my ram is running at higher frequency but it is rock solid. Weird isnt it?

Asgard, did you get the oem 6300 from Ocuk? Hope you did because I have got an oem e6300 chip from them just sat in a box beside me waiting for a DS3 to come on tuesday afternoon.

Congrats mate, this chip is really powerful.

BTW is it stable at 3.5?, what kind of benchmarks can u run at 3.5.. or some stability test like prime, etc.

*EDIT: Sorry, i already saw the benchmarks and prime results on the second page at 3.5, is this stable for 24/7 ?

Looks so great, cant wait till i get my E6300 to play with andpaired with a ds-3 that should be good

Anyway looks great, keep upping that fsb. we want to see at least 110% on air :P

Its still there and I think its because you cant set anything higher than Cas 3. Its hit and miss on posting. Suspect a Bios issue

For the moment and there is no difference apart from no heatsink and 1 year warranty
