Looks like a right flowkiler. Not much you can do with such demential card design though.

XS lurker, posting newbie.
stick it with a mag2, pa160 and a 14cm yate. that would be good. and a second loop for your cpu of course...

Well, at the speed my RD-30 is phsing water through 1/2 or 5/8 tubing and RIGHT PAST THE FRACKING TLINE *cough* ahem sorry, yes anyway if this is what its like @ 15v i suspect @ 24v I could have a 4x4 with 2 storms and 2 7950GX2 and it wouldnt even notice it.Originally Posted by eXa

Looks like a decent block, but like said it looks very restrictive. 2 loops is the way to go though, a single 120MM rad would be perfect.

And suddenly the GX2 is an option for me....yes, it's restrictive, but it'd be the only thing in the loop anyway, so who cares? lol
Restrictive ... yes.
Design ... really nice.
Now the GX2 is an option.

I think it looks like a very nice block, but how do you mount it? Seems like a hard mounting process to me.
You have to take the card appart and then it's probably just screw on![]()
what about the wieght , i think it will be more than 800gram for sure

might need additional post from floor of the case to hold up
or make it like hanging from the top...
thats got to be quite heavy for a single pci-e mount to hold...
not to mention going quad sli...
It's dual-slot, but it'll probably require some form of bracket anyway. Also makes me wonder if this thing would allow you to jack the GPUs up to 7900GTX speeds. I know they're the same chips, but can the chopped-down PCB provide the power?

I see 7950GX2 in my future. :o
Theres gotta be away to increase the space between the two boards... That PCI-E connect that between them just needs a riser. Make it so it takes up 3 PCI slots rather than 2. Would make things a lot easier.
Agreed, this is definatly on my hit list now.Originally Posted by Vapor

in all honesty... i ask why you'd drop the cash on a 7950GX2 when you need a fancy waterblock that costs even more money, when you have 8800GTX's right around the corner... or so a little bird told me![]()

no. im not putting a GPU that uses 300W in my pc, just like ive never put a P4 in it.
theyre not getting any of my cash until they start doing power use optimizations.
when the R600 comes out will be a good point for me to get an X1950XTX.
