Cool! Although it looks crazy restrictive, it makes it a lot easier for me to consider the 7950 now that there's a block for it, even if it was not optimal, I'm going to assume right off the bat that it is better than the stock air stuff.

stick it with a mag2, pa160 and a 14cm yate. that would be good. and a second loop for your cpu of course...

DD doesn't list a price for the block(s) yet but at least there's one for the card.

Looks like a decent block, but like said it looks very restrictive. 2 loops is the way to go though, a single 120MM rad would be perfect.

And suddenly the GX2 is an option for me....yes, it's restrictive, but it'd be the only thing in the loop anyway, so who cares? lol

I think it looks like a very nice block, but how do you mount it? Seems like a hard mounting process to me.

might need additional post from floor of the case to hold up
or make it like hanging from the top...

thats got to be quite heavy for a single pci-e mount to hold...
not to mention going quad sli...

It's dual-slot, but it'll probably require some form of bracket anyway. Also makes me wonder if this thing would allow you to jack the GPUs up to 7900GTX speeds. I know they're the same chips, but can the chopped-down PCB provide the power?

Theres gotta be away to increase the space between the two boards... That PCI-E connect that between them just needs a riser. Make it so it takes up 3 PCI slots rather than 2. Would make things a lot easier.

in all honesty... i ask why you'd drop the cash on a 7950GX2 when you need a fancy waterblock that costs even more money, when you have 8800GTX's right around the corner... or so a little bird told me

But then, why not wait for the 8950GX2?

And the fusion reactor to power it....

no. im not putting a GPU that uses 300W in my pc, just like ive never put a P4 in it.

theyre not getting any of my cash until they start doing power use optimizations.

when the R600 comes out will be a good point for me to get an X1950XTX.
