    ASUS New 975x Motherboard P5WDG2-WS Pro Support Conroe Kentsfield

    I get new 975x mobo from ASUS main company. It supports conroe.

    do you think there is anyway to find out the differences between this revision of the board and the old one to find out if there is some mod that can be done to make the 1.02 revision ws or p5wd2-e conroe compatible?

    or is this out of the question.

    ASUS told me 975x support conroe only have two mobos, P5W DH and P5WDG2 WS Pro. So I think P5WD2-E will not support conroe in 2 month.

    I am not sure about max FSB because I always use air cooling. But 433*9 32M is no problem.

    Fonconn manufactures the LGA775 socket as well as many other sockets. They have a much larger OEM market than MB manufacturing business.
