Nice little chipset cooler there. I have a question, where can you get that chipset cooler mounting gear? Does it only come with the TT Spirit? I really need one of those things for my P5WDH & MCW30.

And @ Coolaler good results as usual, you make 4 Ghz look easy.

Thx eva i will look into it. I have the MCW30 block but the stock mounting clip does NOT work well enough, the TT Spirit's mounting gear looks like just the right thing.

How stable is an E6600 @ 4GHz on air? Many believe this is useable for 24/7 use, altough I doubt that...


More and more I get the feeling that XS really hates the ThermalRight HR-05, and really prefers a small 40mm cooler above a 70mm heatsink.
There is a 60mm delta fan on it's way here, and I guarantee you it will outperform any 40mm chipsetcooler

I think I'll be aiming for 3.5ghz stable. To leave as-is.

I've already put my 120x38mm fan to the front of my Antec P180 and removed the upper HDD cage and VGA duct in anticipation for some good scores!

I have a question or two which will most likely be ignored, but I will ask anyway...When guys were runnig Super Pi on AMD dual core CPUs, it was almost mandatory to run 2 instances, one for each core...Why does nobody with a Conroe/Merom/Kentsfield run more than one instance at a time? I thought you were supposed to run an instance for each core? Is there a problem running 2 instances, and do the scores suffer?

so if u want test stable @multiple cpu,u may try sp2004 or cinebench
