Whats the markings on the chip to the right of the cpu socket? Looks like a 48 (12 per side) pin chip.

I like my women the way I like my processors...naked.
I am not the HellFire that writes bios files. I work strictly on voltage modifications.

    Vcore mod:

Just solder 1K Vr to pin28 and pin31.
    Lower resistance = higher vcore

    Vmem mod:

Put one 50k VR (or 47k) on pin11 to pin13.
The Vr must be at max value (50k) then lower vr value = higher vmem.

You can find LM324 (for vmem) and L6711 (for vcore) here:

Please post some results cause I don't have that mobo.

If that board uses same pwm's (power managers) the vmods are same.

If pwm's are diferent i need the ref. number to discover them.

    1K Vr to pin28 and pin31

I need a 1.40 to 1.525vcore and how can I achive these voltages

    Many Thanks in advance

Bump, no chance of a modified bios and the like, or is there just no hardware there?

The VR set to 1K will give you real vcore. To have "modded" vcore you need to drop down some ohms from VR.

I dont have this board so i dont know the exact ohms you need to have 1.55v. This PowerManagment chip only gives you aroud 1.575v to 1.6v max vcore.

Read the mosfet legs and coils with multimeter from this red zone:

I believe that vcore reading point is there.

If I have one i can search for it and for alternative point and droop/vdd mod to

The revision 2.0 uses ST L6714. I'm looking now to block diagram and scheme of it from ST website.

This chip goes up to 1.6v output, and have more vid control legs.

From the scheme I believe that is the same mod method (but in pins 41 to 19 or 41 to gnd). This PowerMangment chip is based on L6711 but is modified to work with new AM2 and Intel LGA requirements.

If you can chose some vcore from bios i think that with VR set low you will have 1.6v output with 1.2v from bios.

If i have knowledge from bios programing i believe i can mod original bios to set vcore from bios setup. Just some hex code work and i'm noob from that area. I leave it to expert guys.

Try this mod carefully. Buy multiturn VR and drop down the ohms slowlly to see if vcore changes. If not dont go much lower and report here the results to find a solution.

For vdd mod of first revision i believe that the chip with green circle is the responsible for that. Just need the ref. of it or a good pic of it:

    Cumps!

One friend done the mod on rev2.0 and don't worked. There will be another way to do it.

I dont have time to read entire datasheet and my dfi expert died (seems like cold boot). When I have time and pc working I'll search for a trully solution to this board.

I'm going to rest now cause i'm back from hospital some mins ago.

    Cheers

I have been considering one of the conroe compatible ASRock boards paired with a Pentium D805, untill conroe is official available, and affordable. The boards im interested in is this one the 775Twins-HDTV R2.0, the 775Dual-VSTA, ConRoeXFire-eSATA2, and the ConRoe945G-DVI. Now for me I have none as my favourite atm. What im looking for is a Vcore/Vdimm mod on any of these mobos, because i will be running a D805 temporarily and want to clock the living hell out of it, thus requiring more volts. So if anything is established keep us all informed.

EDIT!!: after some searching i found a review, and vmods for the ConRoeXFire-eSATA2. http://www.vr-zone.com/?i=3779&s=1
maybee we can get some vmods for the 775Twins-HDTV R2.0 from teh ones in the link.

I currently have my E66 @ 3060MHz in the Asrock 775Twins-HDTV R2.0 without any mods

The only thing that is stopping me from going higher is the bios that tops out @ 340FSB

All I want is 400 and I will be happy, anyone know of any bios mods ??
lots and lots of cores and lots and lots of tuners,HTPC's boards,cases,HDD's,vga's,DDR1&2&3 etc etc all powered by Corsair PSU's

alternative solder point for vcore mod please

and second question - this mobo supports ddr1 and ddr2 (vdimms 1.8 vs 2.5) - how vdimm mod works? Increase voltage for ddr1 and ddr2 slots at the same time?

any mod or hacked bios out? dont really need vcore mod rite now coz of the 340 htt limit, the board isint even stable at 320htt, but this with DDR1 ram, havent tried with DDR2, maybe the Nb requires more juice? any mod for this?
