Their web site is very buggy, I wouldn't give them $1k for sure..

Legally speaking, I don't know of a state you are NOT supposed to do this, like anyone does tho...

Anyone want to venture a guess as to what's going on here? Are these people all just getting the same bad idea at the same time or do you think Intel actually released the X6800 early... or ??

I'm tempted to push the button on one of these just to see. I'm not scared of fighting a CC battle, I've fought and won every one so far.

hmmmm... bestbuybusiness id probably the most "trustable" of those... but tbh, if we can get kentsfield for $1500, why spend $1200 on a X6800?

I didn't preordered from him and don't plan to order anything, but give him a brake. A store owner that contribute to a forum is a rare thing that is very appreciated for customer service.

Yeah I guess you guys are right. no agenda here --- i guess he just worried me when he said my order might have so many problems so I got a little nervous and defensive. I really care about getting a new Conroe!!

It was just that when I posted that I had pre-ordered one from BLT he went off on all the ways they could screw up my order and how ETA 7/11/06 was totally unreliable (guess it was pretty reliable after all

), and that he was going to get the first 60 before anybody, I couldn't help myself from putting a little

now that everything turns out differently.

he really had me worried!

i will not post again about it.
