I'm thinking of that Gigabyte board or this one right here ^^^^^^^^.
How do Intel made mobos overclock?

I have to admit I like the features on that one. That might be my best choice at the moment considering the intel factory 965P mobo is only $20 less.Originally Posted by WesM63

Doubtful. The DS3's big brother the DQ6 with its "xtreme" bios Only managed 288 at HardwareZone even with all its choice voltage options. Barring a miraculous bios update I'm guessing Gigabyte will be another also ran in the stampede of mobos coming to market for the Conroe crowd.Originally Posted by ®om1

DS4 is a near copy of the high-end DQ6.Originally Posted by Phosphate
Audio, and a weaker power system are the only difference, I think.
I was hoping the DS4 would be ~$150.... damn it.
THANK GOD!!!!!!!!!!
I was worried the P965s would cost like $200. I hope P5B Deluxe is like this price.
Maybe I should buy one. I imagine the price will shoot up... It's blue and orange though.

Well the M2N32-SLI Deluxe is $210, and that has dual x16. I know the P5B Deluxe won't be $150, but at most like $180. The M2N32 is a deluxe flagship chipset. The P5B Deluxe is a deluxe mainstream vhipset. if it's above $200, it's only becasue of Conroe. I shoudl of said, "I hope this price is an indication of the P5B Deluxe". I bet the P5B vanilla will be though. I'm just happy it's not $250 like the 975Xs.

Hmm...why do I feel like the chances this board sucks are high?
On a positive note:
Did you read the performance update? They got to 360 FSB with a newer beta bios. Still not the magical 400, but a bit better.Originally Posted by gundamit

LOL.. i've used quite a few gigabyte first release boards and they are not bad. They're not a DFI SLI-DR or equvilant, but they'll get that conroe system up and running before everyone elses.
I already purchased my P5W DH, otherwise I would of taken a chance on this one.

I need a board that will hit 400 easily...except I don't want to pay $250 for it. Especially when I'm going to be using only 1 video card. I can dream can't I?

dude, hittin 360 on a $150 dollar board isn't bad in my book....
besides, new BIOSes should let it hit 400...

they have alot of work to do to get it to compete with the other 2 currently available, hell even the DFI does better.
