And several answers for your questions:
bachus_anonym> They are very comparable to what I get with 6400C3 on AM2 - 32M @ 450Mhz 8-3-3-3.0 and 1M @ 460Mhz 8-3-3-3.0 with 2.5v...

Your information was very helpful for purchasing 6400C3, many thanks!!!
eva2000> what's that block in between the chipset block and the video card ???
-
sierra_bound> I think that's a CPU block that's attached to the loop. He probably just took the watercooling set-up from an old system. I believe his notes say it's a Socket 754 block!

Celeron Gamer> how do you make that temp sensor, anyone got the schematics/blueprints/whatever on how to make on of those?

OMEGA3> It is thermometer kit sold by the "Akizuki denshi" of Akihabara.

Thank you OMEGA3, OMEGA-san...BTW, pronunciation of '3' is 'san' in Japanese
Yes, my thermometer is same as OMEGA3's.
rick_fx> will we see under 10 minutes SPI 32m with conroe soon?

X6800 B1 will arrive here in Japan in this week or so.
I did not order it this time...I hope other japanese OCers will break 10min
ZX7891> how much does water cooling the chipset on the P5W help?
--
Difference was ~8MHz in my case.
In same condition (Corsair XMS2-5400UL, Vdimm=2.42V, Vmch=1.90V) except chipset cooling,
by air -> 472MHz
by water -> 480MHz

Great.. you still have room then in the vmch
How high could you go with the standard 1.65vmch?

Hi Kiosen
congrats for the result...
Did the Vfsb mod helped a lot to reach 480 FSB?
Did you test the difference with and without Vfsb mod?
Thanks
Sorry for my bad english, I'm from italy![]()
Can sb tell me what exactly Vmch is? voltage of NB? and what Vfsb is?
OC-Lab.si!!
This is my max on aircooled northbridge and 1.9vmch![]()

nachthymnen> Have you planned some SPI action with X6800?

Yes, of course...but after official release
giorgioprimo> Did the Vfsb mod helped a lot to reach 480 FSB?
giorgioprimo> Did you test the difference with and without Vfsb mod?
--
Vfsb-mod did almost none, or very very a little.
I could reach 482FSB with Vmch=1.95V, Vfsb=1.50V...
...but I still hope that Vfsb-mod may give +1MHz FSB
zbogorgon> Can sb tell me what exactly Vmch is? voltage of NB? and what Vfsb is?
--
Vmch = Voltage of Memory Controller Hub, and MCH = North Bridge.
I think that Vfsb is FSB termination voltage...described as VTT in the Pen4 datasheet: Page22
ftp://download.intel.com/design/Pent...s/31030801.pdf
There is also VCCA as voltage relating FSB, but it seems that same voltage is supplied
to VTT and VCCA, at least for P5W-DH and D975XBX.

Hmm...I still suspect that each Core& Core2 series CPU has its own FSB wall![]()
I'd like to push my step 4 6700 to these heights, thanks for us showing it's possible kyosen. Really nice results![]()
