it is definitely the best air cooled case .. i switched from a stacker 810 back to a lian li .. but that stacker is damn nice .. talk about nice airflow to my quad sli lol

Seems like there's an etreme love-hate relationship going on with this case and the people. I'm quite happy with mine in the end, I find it to be a total dream to work with. I can see how it wouldn't be everyone's cup of tea though.

Any particular reason why CM decided to attach the plastic parts to the case? I'm thinking of making them black. (I have the silver case, so the plastic bits look a bit gaudy in contrast with the silver aluminium)

im seriously considering it in black .. my lian li v1000 just doesnt cool my quad sli at ALL .. even with the fan blowing over them .. i wonder how well it would cool with all those fans .. seems like it could just be noisy as hell and cool maybe a degree or 2 better ??

i just cant seem to go away from lian li quality .. i have had like 7 lian li cases .. just love the quality but the cooling isnt always the best for air ..
i had a stacker 810 and didnt really like it .. had a problem with the pci cards fitting into the slots ..

any 830 owners have this problem ???? i know it was a problem with the original stackers ??

also i hate the 830 in silver but the black is damn sexy .. i mean the whole case inside and out is black .. its friggin badass ??

I love this case, moreso in black. I almost pulled the trigger on it and decided it just wansn't worth the money. My $30 AMS Gomo case has been thru 8 full system upgrades and is now just starting to show its age. So i bought an $85 Ultra Aluminus instead.

im very tempted to buy one of these to cool my quad sli .. the 4x120s on the side would do wonders .. i just think it looks kinda cheap with the plastic parts but the all black one kinda hides its ugliness .. my lian li v1000 just cant cool my system properly

The crossflow fan might be another option there. I can't attest to it's performance, but some people swear by it.

Looks much better than the typ. silver one. I'm still swearing by Lian-Li though. Stacker vs. Lian-Li: two very popular cases designers that couldn't be more different.

It is the best air-cooled case. It has room for twelve 12cm fans

I guess the only problem I have with the case is the number of hard drives it can hold. I mean four is good for most people, but it is a little meager. I'm thinking of going Raid 5 later, and also adding my current 160GB, so I won't have enough space.

Still though it is an awesome case and one of my favorites. Performance-PC even has that case with a window!

compusa has them too for like 249.00 if i remember right....i looked it over pretty good but didnt like the way they have the doors mounted, it was a pita to open, kinda "feels" cheaper then they look...but kinda cool too at the same time....now for ventilation??? i dont think it could be beat...but good wc would be a hard press to get mounted.....

The cheap feel is common with Coolermaster.

Keep in mind Coolmaster does invest real brainpower into coming up with smart designs, but the actual manufacturing is clearly cost-driven.
