Hi
I have ran in to a wall while oc'ing my Sandy 3700+.
I am running it on a DFI lanparty ultra-D (with DFI's newest bios) With 2*1gb kingston value ram
And a Zalman 7000b-alcu cooler
Its is Rock stable at 2700Mhz at following settings:
Its is runing a Pi 1m at 33 sec
vcore: 1.550
Vmem: 2.7
V Ldt: 1.3
V Chipset: 1.50
And ram divider 133 (so that i am sure that it is not the RAm that is setting the limit)
And HTT at 4x
At 2750 it gets slightly unstable, resets sometimes.
What can it be. I have seen several sandys getting near 2900 on air.
Maybe another bios or a Modded bios ?
at 2790 mhz superpi fails and posts the message: Not convergent in SQR?
A pic of max superPi 1m is attached:
Thnx for the help![]()
