I'm not 100% sure, but I think I recall reading that the RD600 chipset motherboards would not be available until late summer.

I called about 5 minutes after the store opened but it looks like they were making their morning coffee or something. I tend to forget there's a 3 hours difference between where I'm at and Cali.

Since you confirmed it I guess we're good to go. I have dealt with ewiz in the past, especially on rather exotic items (Asus CT479, Gigabyte I-Ram, etc when no other store had the stuff) and they've always been prompt and provided good service. From past experience, I would say that those that ordered have little to be worried about.

I placed mine in cart at $242.05, then as I was checking out, happened to open a second window where the price had fallen to $235 and I snatched it. It showed up in my cart as two different items, one for 242, the other for 235. Now I'm seeing it up at 242 again. Maybe its listed twice?

Hehe I confirmed stock but they were unsure HOW MANY they actually had in stock.... when I put it in the cart it was 242.50. Haha $80 for overnight delivery to Toronto!

Wow, they were very very nice on the phone. Apparently he got an unexpected, smaller batch this morning. They still have an order coming this friday or monday morning which will cover all the 1st pre-order people and some of the 2nd pre-order people.

I will be getting my board either tomorrow or Friday but I still don't have a Conroe CPu onhand.

I'm pretty sure that if you go through Froogle, you get the $235 price. If you just find it through the eWiz site, it's $242.50. When I added it through Froogle, the description in the shopping cart has an [FR] in front of it, which I would guess designates it was through Froogle.

It didn't come w/ free shipping. I went through the entire checkout with the 242.50 board, then thought to have a look on froogle right before I submitted the order.

It's like a coupon/promotion thing. If you go through Froogle, you get the discount. Just like not so long ago, over 80% of online retailers would give you a small discount if you put in "pricewatch" as Promotion Code or Discount Coupon.
