"Increased maximum for Host Burn-In percentage to 50%"
That means FSB up to 500FSB from bios![]()
someone try them out and get back with the details please, thanks also![]()

Corsair 750D | Corsair AX 850W | Core i7 2600K | Thermalright Venomous X | Asus Maximus IV Extreme B3
eVGA GTX680 SLI | Crucial Ballistix Sport 16GB | Intel 530 240GB | 2 x WD RED 3TB in RAID 1 | LG BluRay | 3 x 2413WFP
You gotta admit that Intel is sticking with this board quite well. I thought they never loved their own motherboards as I've been them ditch new models so quickly.
Main Rigs...

2. i7-870 (Acts as NAS with 5 HDDs)
3. 1065T (Inactive currently)
"Removed CPU Core Multiplexing Technology BIOS Setup Option from Main Page" is the most interesting change...
EDIT: Played with these last night. No real big change. Added FSB OC% doesn't increase the boards OC ability, just allows you to get the BSOD straight from Windows boot. lol![]()

I'm certainly not rich, just lucky![]()
Sounds like they might have oopses on the prior BIOS rev in letting hte Core multiplexing option appear. that, or they didn't want ot give answers to all the questions it caused
What's the new HPET option that they unhid do?

This board seems more and more appealing.
Antec P180B
OCZ GameXstream 600W
Q6600 G0 w/CNPS9500 LED
DFI LanParty LT P35-T2R
Corsair TWIN2X4096-6400C5DHX
eVga 7800GT CO + VF900
WD 74 GB Raptor (Leopard 10.5.2)
A lot of storage...
Dell 2405FPW
Logitech G7 in Black
It is a good solid board.
It may not have the ultimate overclocking potential of perhaps the DFI but for the average overclocker its good enough.
This is sent from heaven for us FreeBSD wheenies who need to get the FSB up. Who-hoo.
I'm a little confused. I thought intel boards never had overclocking options?
< asus p5w dh deluxe, intel e6600 es, bbati x800pro, 2gb mushkin xp2-5300, seasonic s12-600

i did the OC DEBUG MOD and its working great i changed the fsb override to 1066 but when i turn off the computer and start a cold boot the fsb going back to 800 but in the bios its still on 1066.. its wierd becouse in cpu-z its show 800 and in the bios its shows 1067.. every cold boot i need to enter the bios and re-enter the fsb to 1066 for it to work.. even if it not changed at all...

Some people were given free ES (engineering sample) CPUs and Bad Axes by Intel... others paid a lot of money to get these ES products.Originally Posted by easyrider
