Catalyst6.6beta

I found there is significant improvement for 3DMark06.
and a little for 3DMark05, and almost none for 3DMark03,2001SE.

System Info:
E6700@3.9G=390x10 by water-cooling
Radeon X1900CF@792/891 by water-cooling

3DMark06: 13608

Wooow, good job ATI. Finally they decided to optimize for 06

Now Nvidia has 03 (only) to brag about

My watercooling experience

Water
Scythe Gentle Typhoons 120mm 1850RPM
Thermochill PA120.3 Radiator
Enzotech Sapphire Rev.A CPU Block
Laing DDC 3.2
XSPC Dual Pump Reservoir
Primochill Pro LRT Red 1/2"
Bitspower fittings + water temp sensor

Rig
E8400 | 4GB HyperX PC8500 | Corsair HX620W | ATI HD4870 512MB

I see what I see, and you see what you see. I can't make you see what I see, but I can tell you what I see is not what you see. Truth is, we see what we want to see, and what we want to see is what those around us see. And what we don't see is... well, conspiracies.

90pt???
No, no,

13069 by Catalyst6.3
12979 by Catalyst6.5
13608 by Catalyst6.6

So I could receive 500~600pt gain,
though you may not call it "significant"

Anyway, WR will be for you soon, Kinc

Thanks for that report. Then I come to the conclution that not only the CF-support has been better(?).

I am still with 6.3's... 6.4 and 6.5 caused random crashing and general bad stability on my computer... Even caused weird screen artifacting when loading windows...

These issues fixed in 6.6?

I had similar issues, not random crashes but games just wouldn't start. BF2 locks up at startup with 6.5, fine with 6.3 I will try 6.6 tonight!

Have the 6.6betas caused 1 specific issue.

When a video plays (pick one) does it downclock the video card to its default 2D clocks? Weather you disable the services in the 6.5's it caused this issue when I used anything but CCC. If it has eliminated this problem WAHOOOO!

Yup, that was another problem for me with 6.5's... When I had my card overclocked, and tried to open up a video file, it would crash my computer...
