If its not too much of a bother...I do not want to be too much of a bother... is it possible to run prime95 or another app in its place then, use a program called speedfan to show what kind of vdroop it has? Nothing fancy or complex...
All you do is tab over to charts click on vcore (I believe) and then run prime95 (for example).

Thanks for the information you provided this community so far. Its very helpful indeed.

over 400 mhz i must set MCH voltage to 1.6 V. over 425 mhz fsb windows won´t boot. no matter what vcore or MCH voltage.

i have two problems and i hope to find a solution:

    1. i can´t set RAM 1:1 over 400 MHz FSB
    2. when i shutdown the pc with windows, the pc power off, but after 3-4 sec it power on automatically.

    any idea?

Thank you very much. Now that I know that vdroop is not an issue without mods I think this is enough redemption to value a second look towards purchase

I think kyosen said awhile back that Vdroop wasn't that bad on this board. I've been running the P5W DH for about a day now and like it a lot more than the Bad Axe. It just feels a lot tighter. I think clock-for-clock it's faster than the Bad Axe, though I would have to do more testing to confirm this. Using Tuniq Tower 120 at the moment.
