go with what has already been proven, unless you want to pioneer the 0617`s

i would but i cant seem to find any good steppings for sale that arent outrageously overpriced because of their ability to overclock.

eh, for the price difference of a "guaranteed" 3GHz to being a "pioneer" it's worth it. even if i dont hit 3Ghz id be happy with anything from 2.6-2.8. As my current 4200 is locked at 2.5 to 2.6, anything above 2.6 is instant blue screen.

What can i say im a cheap date.

Interesting. CCBBE's are ideal for air setups. My 0610 does the exact same speed with the voltage in cpu-z @ 1.408. I love how cool these run. I'm anxious to pop it back in when I get my wc setup. Well...if I don't sell all my chips first. =(

I have an opteron 170 CCBBE 0610 DPMW I'm gonna run through some tests & see if it scales better. If so, I'm selling this chip so I didn't wan't to put high volts on it and pass it on. This chip did 2826 mhz default volts 12+ hours prime stable & 2907mhz 1.392vcore with entry level water cooling. So I'm sure it will do 3 Ghz
