For me temps between ~ -45 to - 80C were impossible to boot into Windows - upwards and downwards were OK.

    Isn't 1.03C or 1.04 the better BIOS ?

I have no problems booting into the bios at all. It's when I get into windows that whatever I set in the bios say, 13x260 suddenly becomes 13x200 in windows. And if I'm lucky and I can get into windows at 13x260, I try using clockgen to go to 261 and fsb resets to 100 or hangs!! It must be the remote that did it for you Gautam with this chip... I unfortunately have no patience for it. Especially with my E6700 ES arriving Monday.

I'm breaking from DI and trying cold water for a bit on this Yonah...

Nice results on water, gocchin. I never had much luck with Clockgen and the AOpen board. I always used the remote.

Gocchin - you're a wild man - seeing that pot without any hold-downs

I know the weight helps to make somewhat of a contact - but I am hestitant to expect any good contact out of it.

First Yonah run with Gamers (former ) cpu :

    Screenshot: 18.859

    Intel Yonah T2600ES @ 246x13 = 3200mhz
    2x 512Mb OCZ PC6400 Pt. - 4-3-2-9 @ 410Mhz.

This is as far as it goes on air, on a non-modded Aopen. Time to reach for the soldering iron

Will also try my SS phase later once I get a compatible mounting kit

OK...here's the final results from this Yonah. It should be getting packed up and sent off today. Needless to say, I definately won't miss this stupid AOPEN board which never got stable enough to even allow me to figure out how to tweak DDR2, so don't mind the poor results. If this mobo had actually belonged to me, I would have thrown it out the window a long time ago.....

    @ jokker

I haven't test the cpu on air.
With my chiller makes the cpu max. fsb 274 on x12.
For the 1M shot are 1,65V on the cpu.

Well I got Mine today... and I know the time is for Conroe but I wanted to have a Mobile Chip on my Desk and hence I went for this. Will post whatever lil bit I can achive with T2600 on AIR
EDIT: Got it in 20s on air with TT-BT and NO MODS and this is initial test. I think few more MHz are lef tin that. My Transcend DDR2 533 [ValueRAM] sucks tho waiting for GSKILL 2GBHZ.

Unlucky. Mine stuck at 233 FSB so at least i hit the 3ghz.
Freon enabled 240 FSB... or at least it did till condensation blew the mobo... At least thats my guess as the AOpen will no longer post

The Bioses come as a windows exe file that includes the windows flashing software. Just run it in windows and it flashes.

I found that general cooling is need all around the socket. If you are now on water with no fan it will prob be holding you back. Get some air blowing in the socket area.

Just touch some of the IC's near the case rear side of the Socket, they get very hot. When you have air cooling you are blowing air on these components as well as the CPU itself. By going to Water you are not cooling these anymore. It just may give you that extra few Mhz
