Cross Cultural Overclocking @ DFI Computex

Looks like Shamino, Coolaler, Juan Flatier, and Sampsa were all in attendance for a little overclocking party at the DFI booth at Computex.

Loads and loads of pictures here:
    http://vr-zone.com/?i=3727
They overclocked a Conroe X6800 using the reference nvidia 590 Intel board cooled with LN2.
We ran a few instances of 3D Mark and Superpi and brought the Conroe 6800 XE to 4350MHz....
Also take notice of Shaminos watercooled 7950GX2s
Looks like alot of fun and it always fun to see the faces behind the greats.

Would anybody who was in attendance care to chime in as to what mult/fsb that was?
It appears like the darn nv fsb bug may be gone!

overclocking is fun to an individual, but why do people as an audience see it as entertaining? bios boot test, bios boot test, bios no boot, bios boot test.

wow! finally competitors are working together

what I'm wondering is, why they don't mention the FSB they achieved would be very interesting for those who want Conroe + SLI and the FSB is very important for Conroe overclocking!
Notice any grammar or spelling mistakes? Feel free to correct me! Thanks

I'm hoping that it was atleast 435x10. That would make me very excited for the actual NV590 boards.

Indeed. The fun is within tweaking, not for audience.

    It was quite fun
More time would definetely helped, but we were all quite busy, in fact Sampsa just dropped by to say hi only cause he had to go to Gigabyte's Factory Tour (me too but Conroe + LN2 > Gigabyte Factory Tour). Later Sampsa met VR Zone team and DFI engineers for dinner, I couldnt make it there...

I'm still stuck in Asia, I had to go to China and didn't realize my Taiwan VISA was just one entrie so I'm stuck in Hong Kong, but HK is fun

BTW Coolaler gaved us some really sweet signature series heatspreaders

What about handing me a heat spreader in front of a camera?
Just so I can say "I got a coolaler heat spreader!"…
