All 960s are C1s. Finding a 930-950 C1 would be a challenge since it looks like 100% of them are going to OEMs and none in retail

PC, I don't think those are fully unlocked or were supposed to be, just EIST so 12x or 18x is it. Also, I think the 671 got canned? I haven't heard a thing about it or seen it in a roadmap for a long, long time and I wanted to get one as it's the "last of the fast". If it was going to be released at all, I would imagine it would've be next to the 960s. If they put out a $500+ single core now, I doubt they would sell many...just to those looking for a piece of history

    Nice clocks though! Let's see that 5300 @ 12x

Wow. 5.3ghz looks like a walk in the park for you :claps:

Congrats Though the 3d01 score is a tad low as usual for the clockspeed

Got a D930 C1stepping in school : it easily works @ 4.6GHz 24/7 under TT BigTyphoon (4.85GHz - suicide shot...)... those CPUs are really nice...

Yep ... a couple a weeks ago i was given $1k to go and to buy a server to our school ... they were so pleased with it that they allowed me to OC it a bit ...
P.S. the Presler C1 that I have was running @ stock for only ~1min ... it was OCed to 4.5GHz from the very beginning (then->4.6GHz) and there seem to be none errors @ that freq... yet

Very nice cpu you got there...
5300 Mhz at nearly 300 FSB is nothing to be ashamed of !

But, it would be fantastic to change the MP a bit lower... Are there anyway S775 CPU's with 65nm technology who have adjustable MP ?

Nice gem you have there. My PD950 can do 4.2GHz with everything on stock (cooler, voltage, SPD ram, etc)

    http://valid.x86-secret.com/show_oc.php?id=96771

And the mobo is giving it only 1.27v =)

Nah, I just took the CPU for a ride and see how far I can OC it with everything on stock =)....

PCi2, yeah, maybe our CPU used to be playing with each other in the factory hahaha....this one runs hot, really hot, at this speed. I haven't really pushed it too far, I don't plan to, I am such a lazy fanboy when it comes to mounting better cooling solutions haha...

Cooling is a Thermaltake silent tower, I've had the chip a couple of months, upgrade from a Prescott and from day one I couldn't believe how cool it ran.

    Here is a stock screeny

The 2500rpm is meant to be the CPU fan I think, The socket on the motherboard was 4 pin and the fan was 3 pin but I think the extra pin would be for the Q control.
