My mistake....the chips are actually Infineon 2.5ns.Originally Posted by DrJay

hynix 2.5ns here. Thing is that sometimes is working, but lately with only 1MHz is doing several artefacts and freeze or black screens. Softmodded Catalyst 6.4 or Extreme-ATI 1.6.3 and AtiTool 0.25beta14. What do you use?Originally Posted by DrJay
VoltModded, 1.73V on GPU (0.5KOhm), 2.26V on Mem(10KOhm).
And I do have now WR on 3D2005 and 3D2006, i will validate later.![]()
As I mentioned, they were actually Infineon 2.5ns chips. I used a combination of OCtool, Rivatuner and ATItool. At least I think I did........it has been several months now.

Hi there guys,
i've been reading this tread and was speachless ! You're my idolsThose results were simply incredible. I've got a small barage of questions for you all, because i'm planing on buying Sapphire x1300 n-p:
1.Do i need water cooling if i'm gonna volt-mod the core
2.How much does memory speed affect the performance (if u could post parallel result or tell me cca. in percent - eg. 5%...)
3.When you say 5kOhm resistor you actually mean 5000 Ohm or 500Ohm ?
4.What is the optimal voltage for core/memory
Well, sorry for posting so much Qs but i'm kinda scared of frying my Sapp. x1300 np. Thanx guys in advance.

I bought the damn thing - Sapphire x1300 256mb 2.8ns (65e) On stock volts it does 650/890 !!! And I get cca. 2850 in '05 (because i have weak system memory, but i guess i'd get cca. 3000 with some normal mem). I installed 8cm fan on the front and added some passive sinks on the back memory chips, i also hang another 8cm fan to cool the back side of the card. Now, I understand that i need to vomd core, but i'd rather do it /w pencil than resistor. So I'd kindly ask someone of you to draw mewhere i need to make a line /w pencil. I know i ask too much, but srry the card is cold all the time - it want's to get modded, please help her
Tnx guys.
edit:
if i flash it /w PRO bios, will i get higher voltages ? or if i edit this bios ?
Can someone give me Sapphire x1300 pro bios ? tnx
