    Sapphire Pure PC-A9RD580 results

    Hi,

Im since friday testing that mobo for a 2º PC, well with AM2 and conroe out in a weeks buying a high performance AMD 939 PC has nosense, but well...:P.

The mobo has an award bios at stock not very overclock friendly, that changes when you flash an AMI bios of Tony aka Big Toe. Then the sapphire becomes a hell overclocker.

With almost 4.2 vdimm and 2.1 vcore, 4 x sata and 4 x sata2 and other nice stuff seem more than a white nice looking mobo.

I were testing max bus and max HTT reachable and that are my results:

    400 bus 1200HTT:

    430 bus, 860 HTT

    And finnally the validation @430

I think so, I was running so low clock beacause im with a watercool without radiator now (only pump, block and reservoir) so 45º were eas to get and I didnt want to damage my chip :P

    Really nice.

Is it possible to run a single videocard in the top slot without performance loss?

Yes, the "master" means where to put the master crossfire videocard when using it, the two pci-e ports are 16x each one, so when running single card you can put it where do you want without loosing performance.

Well, at least on the A8R32-MVP you have to put it in the top slot for single-card mode, but that seems to vary from mobo to mobo
