    Problem with Asus N4L

Had it running on original bios, however CPU would constantly be up at 50% usage. Found that this was a bug in the original bios so I flashed to new bios, now I can't boot with two sticks in.

Do I have to choose between 2gigs of ram or full usage of both cores?

Memory is HP OEM 2x1GB Fatbody D9.
    CPU is T2500 QINY

Hi, I was OK using pc4200 crucial ram in both the original and latest bios. Try some different ram or manually setting the SPDs (to their recommended values)

4-4-4 was the defaults - no post -

    Got it working though

Booted with one stick, set to 5-5-5-12 and it posted fine with two sticks. Never needed to do that with the original bios though.

Didn't have any probs with my 2x1GB Crucial PC6400 (not sure on the chips - Micron something) so it's prob some compatibility issue.

poor - I can get it to around 180FSB - but you get what you pay for. I just need it for a cheap, low powered server.
