    One million in a day for Rosetta!!!!

    Everyone up for a challenge?
    Something for all our new members to get geared up for?
    I admit this is a biggie but hey, why strive for small goals that are easily reached!
    **********ONE MILLION POINTS IN A DAY ON ROSY!****************
    It isn't going to happen today or tomorrow or this week but with some work and planning and EVERYONE pumping 100% I think we can do it!
    Just one day..every box that is even remotely capable running!
    All those friends that don't want to run it, they will if it's for ONE DAY!
    A little discussion here, some time to talk to friends, plan a day to do it and BANG! Watch Baker Labs routers and switches sizzle!
    OK, talk to me. What do you think?

    But seriously yes lets shoot for the sky!!! I'll get Rosetta on everyone of my friends comps for at least one day (or a week)....

    I still have 1 box I miiight be able to run it on and possibly the girlfriends lappy when she gets back...although im not sure how a lappy is gonna like a 24/7 load but we'll see.

    My little Gateway 1.5ghz Dothan runs 24/7 while I am doing all sorts of things on it... So it shouldnt hurt it

    Well I talked to my buddy who owns a UPS Store...LOL Anyway he has 2 comps in the front just for customers to use and one office comp in the back that we are going to load Rossetta on. One of them is a Sempy 3000+ I think and all the others are 2.6 Intels so they shouldnt do to bad I also have 2 more comps that i am going to have running in the next couple days but they may need some help cuz they are waaaay slow...

    I also have an Intel 650 and my Yonah setup coming prolly by Monday

    nope, but if this team can do one million in a day there will be a hell of a lot of shouting and a hell of a lot of crying over at you know where!
    Heck, Maybe we can even talk DDTUNG into getting just ONE MORE box on Rosy for one day!
    Like I said, this will take planning. I think we have enough right now that if everyone turned on everything they have we might do close to 700,000 in one day..It's finding that last 300,000 and setting it up that will take time, then picking the day...

    I have my systme all day 100% and in greece we have 42C...

    Is there a way that i can run rosseta on systems without network and then take the results to a usb stick???
    When Mercedes brought their C111 to Talledega years ago and blew away the closed course record did it count? Yes..
    That was a "factory" car and a "one of" that no one could buy and was never sold.
    Records are records and that is a fact so get over it.

    If there was a way to play rosseta with no netwirk i will be able to add + 16 systems....
