conroe Xe is not FSB1333 this year

sawn my firend set his conroe xe,easy 4G on air.

Conroe xe is still 1066, 2.93G,unlock multi

if amd can't fight back, intel won't release the FSB1333 xe 3.33G at this year

damn, lets hope AMD can somehow chase Intel in the tail, i cant wait any longer for Conroe, although i might just OC the E6700 to 3 Ghz, i will get the BigWater SE liquid cooling system

BigWater SE? Conroe should deserve more loving than that. But being relatively low heat it shouldn't need more

I've got a single stage i've been saving for Conroe, damn AMDs won't work on it

well, BigWater SE is the only water cooling system Fry's Electronic sells, i can't seem to find any of the water cooling on newegg, tigerdirect (i dont trust other sites with my credit card) ... and its better than air cooling, and only cost $109 before tax, its a cheap cooling system, so i will prolly get that

    big water system sucks man...

and actually, the bigwater is almost no better then good air cooling. xoxide.com is a good site, that is where i ordered my stuff from. very speedy shipping too.

US$109 for a bunch of garbage...save your money dude, get a good heatsink and pocket the change.

On topic...thanks for the info, hicookie.
Use in a cool dry place away from direct sunlight. Keep out of reach of n00bs. Overclock within 24 hours of opening.
Do not read instructions before proceeding, do not use only as directed. May cause frustration, late nights and empty wallets.
If symptoms persist please consult your hardware professional.

Instead of delaying if AMD cannot compete they should just sell it at more $$. That would be far more logical and bring in more revenue....

There is not a big difference between suicide shot and stable frequency for yonah/conroe (and even older dothan). For yonah, 2-3fsb max, dothan 5-6fsb. Very easy to find max. stable overclock, just calculate SP1M and down fsb a bit

Nope, about a month too early.
To the best of my knowledge the 2.93/1066 info above is also wrong.
