im happy to see ATi bring these betas of the 6.5 (that is if they r from ATI) it beats having to wait for them another 3 weeks.
Alot of people had problems with the 6.4.
Was there a reason why so many had problems with the 6.5 btw?

Finally a driver that plays well with my X1900 XTX. These are working great with no issues in BF2, bootup, or desktop. Thanks.

Not many people have two standard X1800XTs to try (most will have a master card + standard if they have two).

Its a tough call now. I can't decide what to spend my money on after the new PSU, either some decent RAM or a CF mobo and another X1800XT (they're soooo cheap now)

<Aleph-One>I believe they are a fabrication. Most of the evidence would suggest that they were created in a studio during the Cold War to display our industrial superiority over the Soviet Union.

    17fps increase with css,

    9fps with ut 2k4

    11fps with bf2

    15fps with lost cost

    5fps with cellfactor

    awsome gains from this driver!

This is tempting me, I'll give it a shot in the morning The file size is beefy though, might be worth waiting a while.

the 6.5 is supposedly the driver that will allow HDR + AA in Oblivion without the need for the chuck patch.

    anyone try this yet?

I want to see some oblivion improvements as that is probably the most taxing game out at the moment, even more so than FEAR. Using Quarl's 2048x2048 texture pack you have an extremily demanding game. Plus its been the only game I've played for the last week or so with just a little bit of CSS sprinkled in for good measure.
