The current 975 chip set is hitting cca 375 FSB, on all stock settings as you can see from the great Conroe benches that Coolaler is posting.
BUT before buying, to a good research on what certain board can reach under normal conditions, I know that's what I'll do as I hope 965 will go so far that easily.

I believe THIS is the right place for all the HOT-T-T news and pre-previews thanks to awesome members on board. Keep it up guys!

I my self own a A-Data 667 ram in my transition system, and will stick with them until you can buy descent 800-1000 Ram for less than now.
They don't overclock any BUT that's not very important as they are pretty stable on all settings

LGA775 was designed for up to 1600 MHz FSB ( 400x4) , Woodcrest was originally planned to use such a FSB.

I think it depends on the chipest.let's think about the difference between 865 and 915,

I've seen my p5wd2-e prem post all the way up to 395 and I think the chip was limiting it. Also straight out of the box without any mods.

I am sure that they can do over 275 just fine. I got my old P5LD2 to 280 before otherthings limited it and there was no extra volts to the northbridge...
