My 5400UL just send to RMA, But i don't think is the High voltage killed it, Because i last time run it is on 2.2v, Maybe the mainboard, I don't sure

i also think it is same D9GKX as ST and OCZ using - tested here all 3 kinds - same behaviour...

			We do IC screens here to determine which ICs to use based on batch. The IC is identical, the only difference is at what frequency Micron sells the IC. If we buy a bunch of 333 MHz ICs that do 1066, we'll gladly do that instead of buying the 400 MHz part that does the same.Originally Posted by Deathspawner

Honestly, we'd rather buy the 333MHz part and screen them to 1066 or higher because that means that you guys can buy 1066 modules cheaper than if we were forced to use the 400MHz part.
But performance comes before price at this level, obviously. If it doesn't hit 1066, it's not an 8500.

			Just got my new pair of 8500 back from Corsair's RMA.
Will not be keeping this pair...
Max 5-5-5-15 = 1120 Mhz
Max 4-4-4-12 = 860 MHz
Does meet spec though!! Rock solid @ 1066 5-5-5-15
Corsair's RMA service is great..

It seems that the modules are 100% stable for me with MemTest for Windows, but the DOS version will freeze on them right away. First I've seen that happen.
So, maybe it's not my modules, but rather the DOS MemTest that's screwing with me. Nice 1120MHz btw. How much Vdimm did you need for that?

			Excellent bandwidth you got there with that 820...You might want to try and run that CAS4 all the time because there's a big boost in performance. Do the Vcore mod and maybe you'll see 4GHz

I can actually do 4.2GHz stable unless I am stressing both cores to 100%. 4.1GHz is completely stable as is though. I just had to use that setting to hit that exact mem Freq.. I didn't actually expect it to boot.
I may try that Vcore mod tomorrow.. maybe that will help my 4.2GHz become stable-er.
