w00thope you wont have that darn fsb wall GL with it tyrou .

I have that stupid fsb wall, but around 284Mhz for now, and it goes better and better when the temp lowers![]()
How much better? NJKId's cpu is giving me fits. Tops out @ 242 FSBOriginally Posted by Tyrou
I may have to try it @ -141C this weekend, but don't even want to waste my time if it only gets me 5 more mhz

266 with aircooling, 284 with singlstage, I hope 300 at -100 or lower![]()
Tyrou your one of the luck onesNice cpu!
Nice results guys,i'm still waiting to play with my stepping 8 es because there are still no mobo's here in the uk![]()

What's the highest stable with air on a Yonah? 3.2 GHz?
Oh boy, oh boy...
I think, I might have a record - not the highest but the lowest clocking T2600ES in this thread?
A QHJJ Yonah (one of the original FCG cpu's)... max 215fsb on air (well, that's with an "upgraded" boxed cooler (with a stupidly loud 70x25mm fan), but nevertheless)![]()
away & gone

that hurts. I dont feel so bad now. My 2500ES would only do 211. The good news is that these are like buses, if one doesn't take you where you want to go, there is another one waiting.
I'm sure someone with a notebook would love to have it.

In my case, loosely controlled around -120~-140deg-C.
I felt that under -150deg-C makes no help.
I don't know CAL930's case, but he shows same FSB limit at both
DryIce and LN2, so I think that even -100 is almost enough...

Vcca-mod depends on Vio, so it's a main purpose, at least in my case.

Here in Japan, my friends got same results too![]()
Only the luck dominates it...
Man that sucks, I have FCG T2600 sitting here. Looks like I might use it for a HTPC rig or soemthing![]()
Did some runs last night (its 2:20 am here..) - 01-06 in the morning, am
Please note: no mods done, and step4, GFX used @ sapphire x1900XTX watercooled.. (no mods neither)
- MinusTube + LN2
Didnt reboot between runs..
PiFast: 30.98
SPI 1M: 17.375s
SPI 32M: 16m 27.782 (didnt save in paint.. Due to I thought better run would be easy..)
------
GFX ran: 800/900 or 800/930, dont remember, watercooled, no hardmods.
01SE: 49634
05: 15193
EDIT: Sloppy, its sure not that bad, Im quite sure hardmods would give me another 15FSB, that would be 3640mhz - gonna try it sooner or later =) - But dont know if I have enough LN2 left, wasted alot on makin' a bit fun![]()

LOL...I was just figuring if there's a FSB limit, then the cpu should be able to run ALL tests @ the same speed, but obviously that theory can be thrown out the windowOriginally Posted by G H Z

I think I'm done playing with this cpu on air. Next stop....-150CHere's the results from some limited testing. Don't mind the Vcores as they're all over the place. I was just trying to see if the voltages affected the OC's/temps in any way...doesn't seem like it made too much of a difference....GOD I HATE THIS FSB BUG

odd, using CAS#3 or ras to cas #2, just make it freeze / no boot here... - No matter memclock etc...
Stephen, you do know 1 aint best as Tras, right ?
Nice CPU you got mate, pair it w1th your x850XTPE, and you got one fast 01SE machine
50K should be nooo problemo![]()

Very nice results both of you. I've heard that tRAS 1 sometimes gives a little more headway memory-wise. Shouldn't hurt performance much, if at all.
tRAS 2 can be tricky depending on what modules you got. D9 based something is what I'm guessing for most here, but things look kind of fishy. Seems like some modules are "tuned" for very tight latencies, but have trouble scaling once they're loosened. Others are quite the opposite. Trick is to find what yours likes the best and go with it.

Thx Gautam
Well, I tested with pifast, best one for me was tras 8, I thought it would be 4, but 8 was best :\
Stephen, go for it mate![]()
Gunning for 16K @ 05 tomorrow, on x1900XTX..
Speaking of memperformance, Tras, tRAS, well.... When you say that on the fly, how do you pronounce it? I'm the only one saying "Trash" ?(enough OT, Im going to bed, hmm, speakin' of pronounciation, FUGGER, how is that pronounced?
