How good is Conroe benching 64bit optimized code?
This is a future CPU that might have to run under 64bit Windows Vista with lots of memory.
ORB score doesn't seem to work...i wanna compare FPS!!
But thats fuggin amazing FCG...i am definetely getting me one of these.
Oh, and btw.
Forgive me if i've missed something, but havent you run that at 2d clocks? I can see it is curently clocked at 500/600, and the "Set Default" button is grayed.Originally Posted by freecableguy
Or does "nothing changed" mean stock clocks, if so, my bad. Otherwise, you should get a nice boost in nature with the card clocked up a bit.

whooo! Crossfire! I can't wait!
I'm heading out to pickup/buy sin0822's Chilly1 SS as soon as I finish up here at work (lol probably shouldn't be on here then). I can't wait to put my future Conroe under DI with my future X1900 under the phase.

Score right above:

X2 @ 2.95 and XTX @ 751/841 (clocked higher than FCG's)
Both of these have higher GPU clocks than FCG and running at 2.9+ on the CPU and scoring about the same.
Regardless, its fast![]()

Guys remember 2.6Ghz is not the limit. It can go higher...alot higher if u ask me ^__^
Its the motherboards fault...
For the guy who posted the links I would just like to say look at how much a Opty 170 cost.
The second link you posted was with Watercooled.
Just stating not bullying u so relax ^__^

Well, I wasn't looking at price performance ratio or overclock potential, just trying to compare 3D clock for clock comparison.Originally Posted by ORCBEAST

Just out of curiosity but is anything holding you back from clocking that E6400 ES any higher?
Respectable score for sure though![]()
Never Argue With An Idiot. They'll Lower You To Their Level And Then Beat You With Experience!
perhaps 333 is the FSB limit for this mobo, kinda would make sense being as Intel ain't exactly looking to get everyone overclockign their own boards.
That's a sick score Kris....everything comparable on the ORB is at 3+ GHz (or 6+ GHz for the sole netburst) and on higher clocked cards. To think that this board isn't nearly as CF friendly as the RD580 boards are either
...and on stock cooling and volts to boot, just damn.
Time to load up IDK and see if you can go +12.6% on that 333fsb to get to 3.0G (I think I got that right). Good luck with your fun over there.
