Another New DFI Ultra-D Revision: Rev.AEO

Just got my new Ultra-D today and noticed something new, it's Rev.AE0

Haven't heard of it yet. Looks just like the ADO imo, not sure what's different yet.

    Some pics:

Maybe just a newer bios? I don't know what the ADO shipped with, but this appears to have the 11/14 bios.

I haven't overclocked this yet and I don't have my old mobo or cpu to compare results with Either way, should be just as good as the ADO I hope!

Anyone know if there are any differences between this and the AD0 besides the bios?

6/23. I sold my AD0 and got an AE0 as well.. so far looking OK, except the vcore overvolt under load is .04v rather than .03 measured with DMM. That was a bummer.. but Vdimm is closer, AD0- 2.5=2.55 AE0- 2.5=2.53. Vcore voltages also seem less stable, more fluctuating than the AD0 when measured with DMM. At first the board made my unstable OC's a little more stable (longer to fail prime) but now I realize that it's because of the extra .01v

But I did get my overall goal of over 338HTT which was the old board's limit so I'm happy.

I honestly think they're the same except with different shipping BIOS

    Stock settings,

    Vdimm 2.6v=2.64v
vcore 1.35v (thats stock on these, right?)=1.36v

Seems VERY stable under 100% load. This is at stock though lol. Where is the VTT on these? Did they fix it from the earlier revs?

You get 1.36v on 100% load? Is that exact? If so nice board! Mine gets to like 1.39

I'd like to know about Vtt too, where to measure it etc.. infact I have no idea what it is

edit: OK I lied, it is pretty damn stable. 1.075+104% is 1125mv exactly, hardly moves except to 1123-1124 for a second or two every once in a while. Priming at 2.4GHz here

I ordered one from ZZF and would just rather have the AD0. I plan on using 6-23 for my uccc anyway.

Since there are no physical or stable dissimilarities between the two (I tested my rev AE0), I label this just a bios update.
