    > Does your board go above the 230s?
    --
    It's OK upto about 246MHz with my T2600(ES, stepping:4),
but upto about 235MHz with my T2600(Retail, stepping:8).
As we can see that several T2600(ES, stepping:8) are running awesome,
I think that stepping itself is not important for FSB limitation...

I've done the Vcca mod, and checked its effect.

    Increasing R151 gives higher Vcca.

    I tried upto 1.7V Vcca, and got +2MHz FSB...only 2MHz
I don't know proper Vcca value, though...

Damn this is not good... still I am getting one. So how does this sum up?? CPU(s) are overall dud (OC-Wise)?? As Board (FSB) seems to go up, till CPU(s) can take it.

Sorry, i didn't notice that. With dothans real gain showed above 2v for me, so I think we could easily try a bit more vcca.

Quite the opposite it would seem. Even if people drop the multiplier on the CPU they cannot raise the FSB any higher even with the reduced CPU speed.

But that is just a problem specific to this motherboard so far.

Remember, theres only two (or is the ASUS out now?) mobos on the market for Yonah. MSI and Aopen.

I agree, I saw no gain at all with my dothan at 1.8v VCCA over the stock 1.5v (which is the same as for yonah) Only by going over and above 2v was I able to see real gains (275Mhz stable @ 2.5v vcca over 250Mhz at stock vcca).

A complete silence about the pinmod.

    That's just craptastic...

if someone would try a pinmod he could only run default mp with 266fsb.. this would mean way more then aircooling could handle. so only with phase or dry ice / ln2.

Might be worth a go with say a T2300? That way would bring the clock speed down to possibly workable levels.
