Very good sticks but you have to be careful about the voltage, because these sticks degrade very quickly over time and give errors even at stock settings. A couple of my friends had this problem when they use it with only 2.8 volts for everyday use

My daily config is 300x10 3-3-3-8 2,74v, i only increase the voltage when i do something more "extreme"

bestmancajun, my expert is giving me problems lately with all kind of memos so i have to upgrade the bios to see if problems disappear or persist. If the board is ok i´ll try the ballistix on it to see if i can improve the result or not.

    Thanks all you guys

Nice O.C Cordovader, one question whats the max voltage for MICRON 5B-G actually mine is 2,80 V in DFI bios but the real is 2,93 V; with +0.03 V IF NO 3,2 V = enable, my best results 280 mhz 2,5-3-3-7 with Ballistix PC3200, no more with 3-3-3-8 But daily use is 250 mhz with 2,5-2-2-5

depends on how cold you keep it. i've kept my 5b G at 3.1v for a while before with no obvious ill effects.

I have been using my Crucial Ballistix for a good few weeks now, rock solid @ 285MHz 2.8V.
These are my returned sticks (from RMA) and are the 16TH1 revisions.
Will be putting even more active cooling over them soon all going well and will really push them hard once I get some time.
Anyone else got results with the 16TH1's?

    For comparison, mine are:

    Batch CL1116D.7P
    Part 63240

erm.. .16TH1? care to show a pic? i've only heard of .16TD and .16TD1.. for it to be .16TH1, that means you have 5b H chips

Well, after reading this, temptation took over and I called my Crucial rep and low and behold, they have some new (very limited) stock of The Z503 sets, but only if you call, and most likely only stocked to handle the rma's primarily. Hmm, so I ordered a new set under a reseller account for $237.90 shipped. If they are even remotely as good as the ones in this thread, then it will be worth it.

I believe that is a CPU limit not board..
Fast computers breed slow, lazy programmers
The price of reliability is the pursuit of the utmost simplicity. It is a price which the very rich find most hard to pay.
