Victor ppl wont believe ur running your conroe without a fan on that heatsink. Heck what more do they want ? Do they want to stand next to you to see the results lol Dont worrie I believe ya, you have no reason to lie.

If it wasnt for some of your hardware being under NDA we would have seen pictures of his rig. But people just dont understand it

even myself can hardly believe that.
last night I put my Zalman CNS9500LED on my Aopen975xa-ydg to cool my T2600.
when I finished all the benchmark pi_1m/sciencemark/pi_fast/3Dmark/PCmark,
I suddenly noticed I haven't connect the fan on the cooler.
then I realized what happen:
-------------------------
zalman 9500 with no fan
vcore=1.45~1.46v
T2600 @ 3Ghz
78gtx 512m @ 622_1880
only a 3000rpm 4cm fan on NB_Heatsink. no other fans cooling the system.
ambient temp=22c--------------------------
the system passed all the benchs in about 1hour
everest told the cpu temp=27c idle, 35c load


then I can tell why my conroe E6600 don't need a fan but just a Heatsink for cooling.
1.18v core is much lower then Yonah's 1.45v


seems we can throw away our watercooling/T120 and back to 7years ago just a Alu_Heatsink can solve the thermal problem of these chips in the future
