    Smile 6800LE '05 TEC fun!

    http://service.futuremark.com/compare?3dm05=1910457

There ya go, when i had found max core speed, and started to overclock the mem, the pc restarted and the card began acting real weird, wasnt even stable @ stock, condensing problems i guess..

I'll be back later, probably with some more amazing results, i just need to get my hands on a new CPU first, and i aint got money right now, my skateboard deck broke yesterday, so i have to spend my last bucks on a new one. After my confirmation in late may i will buy alot of hardware.

Card ran @ 525/804MHz, 1,5-1,55v vGPU, stock vmem. GPU cooled by 170w TEC.
Sempron64 @ 2511MHz, the cpu can do alot more than that, but my mobo wont, so i need a higher multi.
    That's all for now, 5978 3Dmarks.

Woah very nice core OC on that card
Should be able to get plenty more from the ram, crank up the volts there too

Hope you've got some hefty vreg cooling on the back of the card, 1.55vGPU is a lot for these little things mosftets must be screaming

As don_vercetti said, ram's a bit poor which is letting you down loads. Can jhit just over 6k 05 w/ 480/992 so more ram speed will help you out a fair bit :d

Yea, thanks people, im sorry, i have no pics of the rig, but i'll fix some until next time.
I got a couple of 80mm fans blowing air at the back of the card, and the three 120mm fans at the radiator is blowing at the card, so the regulators doesnt get way too hot.
Yea, really poor mem freq. I might try to take 6k in two weeks.

on my 6800, i was able to gain another 110mhz (and about 500 3dmark03 points) by loosening the timings on my 6800nu. Went from 875 to 985. Look around the BIOS sections of this place, and www.mvktech.net.

great score push for that 6k. I just killed myrecently revived sempron so i can't compete anymore and my 5300+ score is all i have. I guess your the one whos just pushed me to the edge of the top ten 6800le table thinking about it . As said before you should be ableto push more out of your memory slackened timings aloud me to get mymemory from 880 to 960 mhz. and also nice core clock 525

    nice score

if you can get the ram speed up you'll take the record.

you're just over my old air results just because I had some half decent mem clocks

How did you increase the voltage to something above 1.5v?

Very nice scores. Go for 6k.

Seven month ago i hade two 6800LE. One from Gainward and the other from Leadtek. With the Leadtek i got 5819p, the card ran 490/920. 1,49v on core and no vmod on memory. And with the Gainward i got "only" 5500p. Ooh, and thous scores i got with an Athlon XP 2700+ @ 2,4ghz. And the cooling on the cards was 226w TEC.

6800LE was and still is an assum oc card.

Thanks everybody, i'll try tweaking the mem a bit today, i'll do the vmem mod and change bios timings.

@ bigboi86: I did the 'real' vmod with VR, not the bios mod.

525MHz with FastWrites - very rare card... you have all chances to break my WR after vmem mod

"only" 5505. Its taken me months to get 5505. I'm only using NV5 air cooling so it took me weeks alone to build up the courage to try using 1.5V in BIOS (after all the horror stories I heard)

For you guys with TEC/water-cooling.. how do you know the card is clocked too high? Does the computer freeze, reboot, artifacts, 3DMark scores go down? In my case, I rarely see artifacts, usually scores go down, if clock mem or gpu too high, or even computer freeze.. I've gone as high as 61C load, installed shims for the BGA's, so not sure if its overheating.

OMG that is absolutely incredible.. My eyes arent worthy to see your screenshots. Each and very one of the 6800's I've had, has problems with FastWrites. Even at stock clocks! But, I have a NF3 mobo, and its know "6800+NF3" issue.

Hmm... solder a variable resistor for Vgpu mod maybe?

really? I never messed with fastwrites when I had mine

All the most bizarre, interesting and beautiful artifacts, glitches and hangs come up when you mix 6800, NF3 and fast-writes!

Ok, maybe fastwrites was turned off? But i really doubt it, i havent messed with it.. I guess the 'auto' setting means on? I got a NF3 board..

Oh, and i ran 75MHz AGP freq, which gave me a little score boost.

Im really looking forward to banch a bit again now

    Well, here's the vGPU mod:
    http://www.xtremesystems.org/forums/...2&postcount=18

I soldered a 1,5K ohm fixed resistor in a serie with a 2,5k ohm VR. Then i have a max. voltage of about 1,55v. I have fried a card @ 1,65v and i dont want to do that again
