Maybe its me, but I don't think thats impressive, crank the volts and lets see what this CPU can really do....

The clock speeds aren't so impressive, IMO. Sorry, just doesn't give much of an excitement.

in case you people are blind, just plain stupid, or looking for to talk, its not the clock speed hes bragging about. The fact that its doing it at 1.18 Vcore is pretty insane. Lets see what your amds can run at at that voltage. My predictions....less than 2 ghz.

How much Watt does it use at 1,2v ? Anyway the AMD's can do also pretty good with 1,2V, I think a AMD could do 2ghz easily with 1,2V.

I think it is rather nice to see performance at low volts, congrats! My second opteron 170 ran 2.2GHz at 1.008v dual load. Idle temps were 1c over ambient and loaded was 3-4c higher lol.

kind of a pointless thread really, as it's been said before, this isn't cost effective systems.org, you won't run that 24/7, so get it overclocked with more volts damnit.

Well, technically this is the Extreme Overclocking forum, not the Low-Vcore forum..... it probably would have been a better idea to post it in the Intel cpu section rather than in here.

    Variable Vcore more exactly: 1.25 - 1.4 V.
Abit: The original is always best.

I that is awesome IMO. I run my 630 @ 3.6, with the lowest vcore my board can do, which is a pathetic 1.3V.

I don't know @low volts, but @1,6volts on air i can bench@4,8ghz with my 920...With a big typhoon and 15c ambient temp. BTW my 920 isn't the fastest pressler, ive seen a lot of 930's doing better than mine...

You people are acting pretty stupid. 1.18vcore at 3.6ghz is awesome, especially for a dualcore. Good job man!

    1. It's a 65nm processor.
    2. You are comparing it to a 90nm AMD processor.
    3. No reason to call everyone (except yourself) stupid. That is just unnecessary.
    4. As the first person that replied stated, this is for Xtreme Overclocking, not a tiny one attempting to conserve power.
