You can discuss that with chew* lol. He's very keen on XPMW.

LDBFE is still keeping me busy. I was getting a random memory error every few hours at 345x9 and DS/DDS 7/3. It's 310x10 and 7/2 now. It's so unlike my CDBHE in so many ways.

Would you be able to point me in the direction of the 0605 results please? I can't seem to find them anywhere.

Wasting peoples time? I don't see what is so hard to send someone the exacting stepping, buyers should be willing to tell their customers anything they want about the product, either way this isn't the place for that, I don't want to crap all over the thread

I am curious to see how the BF compare to the BH

hey guys, been outta the amd scene for a while, looking to upgrade sinlge opty to DC, these x2's are looking VERY promising! I was wondering tho, I've seen BH controller revisions but not BF's till recently how do these fair under phase, as thats directly where it will be going? Chew* im sure you have some results eh! Any help would be greatly appreciated, this baby is gonna crunch some serious numbers for the XS rosetta team! Can't believe DPC trash talking us like that...

[offtopic] Btw if anyone here hasn't joined Rosetta, XS NEEDS ya! Big rivalry with us and DPC and they are trying to dethrone us, if interested pm me![/offtopic]

Cool so the BF's seem to handle phase well too... thats good to hear... I think I am seeing a pattern, seems that if Bx where x = a letter then it should handle phase quite well. if Bx where x = a number the chip does NOT fair well with xtreme cooling... Anyway, these 06 X2's look awesome, are the Bh's and BF's what are currently shipping from online etailers?

    They don't look that promsing

Hey TankGuys, do the current batch of 3800 X2's have a T or N on the corner? Or will it vary from chip to chip and isn't stepping specific

Well, this is really very interesting.

I received two more LDBFE 0607 this morning. Peering through the plastic, I can see that one is a UPMW "N" like my current chip, much later batch # - but - the other is a SPMW "T".

Of course, I've decided to leave the "N" boxed and am keen to test the "T", because this may be quite informative. Props to chew* for making this a point of interest.

& - on the "T", the Z89xxxxB part of the serial is much earlier, 1429 vs 4859 on the "N" chips.

Interesting that you say that OPB. Would love to discuss your thoughts and experiences with that. BTW this comment isn't doubting your results, you've obviously had your hands on alot more cpu's than i have. I think you may be right becuase i had alot of conflicting results with that. Also not enough results for TPMW compared to XPMW in my collection of data which would bring the average down.

For all the people that have pm'ed me for locations on 0601 cpu's I was only able to find 1 retail boxed and Absolute has dib's on it. If i find more I will make it public but for now I haven't be able to find any. There is a computer show near me soon and they usually buy in bulk so if theres any chance that there are 0601's floating around that is the last place I will likely be able to find them. Guys will have to wait till then.

my first TMPW (CCBWE 0528 TPMW) was a shocker, needed 1.6v for 2600mhz under water.

O i think i already have it. that wasn't a sucide shot. I stopped there because our record database was not updated.....thought it was the new record....... Is that a real 3500 or is it reading the cpu wrong?

hmmm then that thing isn't even in the same league as mine. Alot easier for a single core to out max clock a dual core.....Kinda hard to break an x2 3800 record with a 3500+ single core.......Some reason I don't think they will approve that.........
