    SD3700+ on air (italian effort)

First post on these forums, have been reading quite a lot about here lately though. I have all to learn.

This will not sound extreme like most of the stuff I've seen going on here but it's my effort on air anyway.

Untweaked/unclean OS, not defragged either, been trying out good few games. Spi times won't be very good also because the ram isn't maxed out.

Still playing about with the cpu as im typing this.

    Specs are

    A64 3700+ KAB3E 0547GPMW
    DFI LP UT NF4 Expert
    A-data Winbond BH-5 pc3200 2x256
    PoV 7800GTX
    some 120GB SATA Maxtor
some cheapo 700W PSU (which im looking to upgrade asap)
cooled by an Arctic Freezer Pro64 and an open window :P

this setup looking stable so far. about to try 3ding.

this was pushing it abit too far, tried playing few games but it crashed. need more volts :P

Can run 3dmark/play Q4/BF2/NFSMW not a stutter/crash or anything at ~3100mhz with 1.52 vcore however prime fails.
100% stable at 275x11 @1.45 vcore (my 24/7 setting @the mo it seems)

Looking for stability at 3150/3200, i'm working onto it right now.

Forgive any spelling/whatever mistakes, english isn't my mothertongue.

    welcome on XS forums
nice, but there are a lot of chip with this step that do better. mine is occt stable at 3.1Ghz 1.39v aircooled
you can improve your pi 1M result pushing more your BH5 sticks

what are your load temp for 1.55v? is it have still ihs on it?

My psu is holding me back big time, keeps crapping out. I'll have to buy a new one tomorrow. can't expect much from a cheapo budget psu.
as per stock voltage it can do 275x11 passing occt test. but prime fails.

i'm still looking for stability before i push my ram i will be back with some better times tomorrow hopefully .

load temps at 1.55v are 41C°, IHS is on. i'm sure the expert has some kinda wrong reading. I'm at 27C° as we speak @1.55v idle.

Very nice. But you need to bump up that mem speed, your PI is really slow.
    Here's mine at ~2.95 Ghz

rally nice clocks, but as the one above me said, u need to work some on your PI time, it can be better, try finetuning memory timings..

not bad but what does your BH5 max out at? imo if you dropped cpu speed slightly and made the RAM 1:1 it would give a much better superpi time

    Opty 144 0546FPMW @ 2.8ghz

Artctic freezer pro 64 HSF. I also have set +4 to cpu temp in bios since this expert seems to read cpu temp cooler than what it actually is.

I'm impressed but BH-5 scares the heck out of me, I don't want to FUBAR my memory controller.( call me a puss )
