And when you thought he was done:

This was all done on -35c loaded gpu temps + 1.7v vgpu still and DEFAULT mem voltage lol. If my slowest cards mem wasn't holding me back (about 80mhz slower) and I didnt have alittle issue with pci-e, I would have broke 20k easy today ...there is always tommorrow. The orb(s) are in for a beating when I get both cards running at -90c.

I think kingpin will be first to break 20k in 3d05. I know these CF xtx's have the potential too do it as well

I agree it hasn't been done yet unless by Nvida/ATI engineers. you never know when they were testing their quad 7900gtx setup what kind of scores they got. Im sure that config with the right cpu and OC's could do it.

But the point is its not WR if no one knows about it, I would call that a personal /world record. a public WR is what counts within the OC'ing community.

Actually, i just read somewhere yesterday that the quad SLI score on a 2.6 GHz FX60 yeilded only like 12k IIRC in 05!!! CPU is huge bottleneck at those speeds. However, it did score over 7k at the 2560x1600 that dell brags as extreme HD.

FX60 (s939) is not a good idea now especially after Conroe benchmarks

It's not like u are going to be able to buy Conroe next month. A good FX60 is still the best at this moment.
