    Mem clocks are:

    1.6GHz
    1.63GHz
    1.7GHz
    1.75GHz
    1.8GHz

    In that order

So many grades though, interesting marketing schema if you ask me

Now the question is whether they pick the best cores for highest grade cards.

My old 7800gtx BFG OC had core clock 460 but it was terrible clocker and could do only 490 without vmod. I've seen regular GTX (430 stock) that did 490-500 no problem.

i'd love to see the pricing scheme behind that.
besides mentioning that those are actually 5 identical cards, just pretested to
do what clockspeeds they're sold with. yeeeez i hope they don't do this with
the lower end cards as well, else we'll end up with like 30 new graphics cards
of one manufacturer that are essentially maybe 5 or 6 cards. a single manuf.
could fill a whole page at pricewatch or pages alike easily.

    doh
sky / s!p - we are oldskool, dammit.

Personally, I have no problem with paying a small premium for higher quality pre-tested silicon. Much cheaper in the long run than buying and selling multiple cards looking for the right ones.

    ^Ditto^

....especially with memory on graphics cards. A card with some higher-than-average clocked memory always gets me reaching for my wallet.

Damn that highest clocked XXX card is pretty crazy in terms of stock speeds - 700/1800. Here's a review - http://www.amdzone.com/modules.php?o...tid=241&page=3

Someone like Asus or Powercolor should do this with X1900's. That way people can get 7900 speed and x1900 image quality.
